    Sivakasi - interview

    April 29th, 2007

We got an e-mail from our Placement cell in our college, in that they denoted that “On 28th on-mobile solution coming for off-campus in sivakasi and the students who got more than 65% and without any standing arrears can attend it.”

So our guys went to placement cell & registered our names there, then we asked that does “college has provided any transport facilities?” to asst.placement officer, he said no.

Then we had prepared for the interview, finally the day comes(interview day) then we started to sivakasi from dindigul at 2.30am in earily morning, from there we went madurai then from there we got a bus to sivakasi. At 8.15am we went the college were the interview held on. Then we got pre-placement talk, and then started 1st round written test(totally 4 rounds). It contains 6 questions somewhat easier, then the result came for that which was unexpected by us because they had selected only 8 out of 220 for the 2nd round itself, no one of our guys were selected. we were totally disappointed and then we all to dindigul. the total day was waste with expense of Rs250.

    Economy of India

    April 9th, 2007

The Article which i read in Wikipedia last week says about growth of Indian Economy. It seems to good, but Poverty, Illiterates, Unemployment are the some the major reasons that reduces our economy. The economy of India is the fourth largest in the world as measured by purchasing power party (PPP). With a gross domestic product (GDP) of US $4282.204 billion, it is behind only USA, China, and Japan. When measured in USD exchange-rate terms, it is the tenth largest in the world, with a GDP of US $930.0 billion (2007). India is the second fastest growing major economy in the world, with a GDP growth rate of 9.2% at the end of the second quarter of 2006–2007. However, India’s huge population results in a per capita income of $3400 at PPP and $796 at nominal. The World Bank classifies India as a low-income economy. The economy is diverse and encompasses agriculture, handicrafts, textile, manufacturing, and a multitude of services. Although two-thirds of the Indian workforce still earn their livelihood directly or indirectly through agriculture, services are a growing sector and are playing an increasingly important role of India’s economy. The advent of the digital age, and the large number of young and educated populace fluent in English, is gradually transforming India as an important ‘back office’ destination for global companies for the outsourcing of their customer services and technical support. India is a major exporter of highly-skilled workers in software and financial services, and software engineering.

India followed a socialist-inspired approach for most of its independent history, with strict government control over private sector participation, foreign trade, and foreign direct investment. However, since the early 1990s, India has gradually opened up its markets through economic reforms by reducing government controls on foreign trade and investment. The privatisation of publicly owned industries and the opening up of certain sectors to private and foreign interests has proceeded slowly amid political debate.

India faces a burgeoning population and the challenge of reducing economic and social inequality. Poverty remains a serious problem, although it has declined significantly since independence, mainly due to the green revolution and economic reforms.

    hostel day works…

    March 21st, 2007

On the occasion of hostel day works yesterday our guys spoke to principal, but it was in vain. Then my roommate amarnath said to principal that he had discussed everything to the dept guys, but it was lie. So our roommate came to conclude that send amarnath from our room and we said it to him. then there is a misunderstanding between our department guys, they all are mistaken muthu ganesh that he has joined to them but he doesn,t. today at lunch time muthu feels very much sad, he said everything to me and singam. From my point of view there is no wrong with muthu, yesterday he works in sports comitee and today everyone decides to work, thatsall.
